ghz edition, some non-reference pcb 7970s, 7990 will probably be announced on the 5th of june. lots of rumours basically.

I think 660 is the next green release, and as others have said 7990 for AMD.
Waiting for GK110 to blow away GK104, or just reduce GK104 to normal prices

I hear the 7990 is due out late June after an exhibition showing it in Taipei. Not sure how accurate that info is of course.

Well I keep on kidding myself it will be in the £699 range. I mean if 7970's are going from the £330-£350 mark, it may be a possibility and if so will appear a better buy than the gtx690. It probably won't be £699 though, it's not like either companies are paying any attention to the fact we are in a recession.
Who cares about the recession? Not like it actually effects anyone.Yes, some people will lose their jobs, but on the whole, if the bloody media didn't blow things out of proportion and scare anyone into not spending a penny, we'd have gone in and out without anyone being the wiser.
I reckon a 7990 will be around £750
September you say for the GTX660Ti? Well, now I'm asking, will there be a "Ti" variant or will it just be the GTX660?

I care a great deal. I do agree that the media don't do any favours to the situation either.
You are probably about right with the price too. Hoping I have enough cash put aside by the time they come out. If they turn out to be a load of rubbish I will just wait till the next gen.
My main point was people think it's something terrible, but in reality, if we didn't know about it, we wouldn't care
As for dual GPU's, it's often better to just get 2 7970's individually

Very true, I often say ignorance is bliss, never mind saying knowledge is power,lol.
The only reason I am looking at prices of the 7990 is tri-fire is a possibility for me and space would be a little limited for 3 separate cards. So one 7990 and my 7970 would work better. Getting tri-fire actually working without bursting a blood vessel in my head, well that's another issue completely.
That was information I stumbled upon while looking up info on the GTX670, I think it will be a 'Ti' version (aswel as a non 'Ti' possibly?). Nvidia really need something to compete with the 7850 in that £200 price/performance area. Fully expect the 660Ti to come in around £220-£260 and out-perform the 7870 in the process.
Agree with this price point, stands to reason AMD would release their dual chip card with a lower price point than the 690, it may well out-perform the 690 too, sure there was a rumor a while back suggesting AMD were going to use full speed XT cores in the 7990?
No 670Ti and here is why....apparently
The 670Ti IS the 680
The 670 IS the 660(Ti?).
When Nvidia realised their second in line card was trumping/equaling AMD's top card they re-branded the 670Ti to a 680. Originally they planned to use GK110 as the 680.
Again the above is speculation as to what happened to that pictured 670Ti (that looks identical to a 680.)
If true the one thing it does tell us is that GK110 is going to be crazy fast.
