whats games can this laptop play

i know i know laptops suck for gaming but i was wondering what is the best fps game(s) this laptop can play and on what settings/res

i7 720QM 2.6GHZ
4GB DDR3SDRAM
Nvdia GT230M 1GB

Any of the Valve games such as Half Life and Left 4 Dead. Default settings would run fine.

Probably any game thats a console port, which is most stuff. Have a friend that plays StarCraft 2 on a 230m.
Laptops dont suck for gaming, they are just very expensive. I used (and still use) a c2d 2.8 with 4gig RAM and a 280m, the only game it couldnt max out was The Witcher 2.

Try downloading some demos off steam.

any chance with BF3 cause i damn i love'd my BC2 on my PS3 too bad it was jam packed with noobs -_- i used to get like a 4+ K.D Ratio but then it gets lame especially when u get hate from ur clan leader cause you outsmarted him and topped it with a uncivilized t-bag TWICE

i really really really want to play BF3 on PC not on "Noobsoles"

played on the same specs as you, probably same laptop, though would run on low settings and res, and may require some tweaking, thats single player though, any heavy multi-player i guess would be unplayable

IIRC it performs similarly to my 520m and I can play, Civ V, Garshasp, Bastion, Dawn of War II etc and I only have an i3 2330m paired with my card

Actually you'd be surprised what you can play. I have an old Dell M1710 2.17GHz c2d, 4GB ram Geforce 7950 GTX and i can play skyrim at 1920 X 1200 on surprisingly high settings (looks way better than the xbox 360 version) As someone said, demos are a good thing to test before buying.. Other games i play is the Diablo 3 Beta on high settings, native res. Blackops, dirt3, fallout 3 to name a few
