Hi all,

I'm having a problem with my laptop, Outlook 07 wont keep the password when I tick the box, and I can't use any shortcuts which involve the win key, although the win key works.

I've done a disk check and a system restore but no joy. I'm running Win 7 Home Premium.

Any ideas guys?

When you say disk check was it the "SFC /SCANNOW" command you tried or just a basic scan disk?

Could be worth while trying the command above as it checks the file integrity of the system files.

Also, are you running as an admin or just a standard user?

When you tick the box it saves the password only for that session. If you manually add the details to the Windows Credential Manager, it should persist.

Sorted, reset my log on password. All seems fine.
