What's going on inside my router's little brain?

This seems a completely obvious question to me, but I get blank looks everywhere when I ask it ...

How can I see which computers are using my wireless network?

Password-protected so I expect I'm safe but, even so, with admin rights is there not a way to get the router to tell me what it's up to?

(Netgear 54Mbps home wireless router, plugged into a cable modem, with my main computer LAN-hardwired into it.)

No, theres no way for the router to tell you what it's up to. Alough It's routing traffic inside its little brain to the workstations. What exactly do you need to know what it's doing for anyway if you don't mind me asking?

I just want to know which computers are on the network, in case some fiendish neighbour has broken my brilliant password.

Do you not see a menu item called "Attatched Devices"? That should tell you who is connected to your router.
