whats going on..my games look as if they are scaling at full screen..pls help

Something weird has just happened tonight guys..for some reason when I launch any game I have on my system, they are not starting at full screen even though full screen is selected in the game menu. Windowed mode is not being used, but it's scaling down at 1920x1080 which gives me a inch border around my screen. My desktop size is full screen, I've checked CCC and nothing looks amiss, I've uninstalled and reinstalled my Cat drivers and MSI AB but its still the same. WTF is going on?

already tried that MAtt, that was first thing i tried. its very weird indeed. It's every game like i said, even Valley and the bench tests. Desktop is full screen and ccc is showing no scaling.

yeah looekd at underscan overscan, its greyed out and set as far right as possible. If it was under or overscanning, it would show it on my desktop also not just in my games.

Used DDU to clear out everything Matt.

Here is the weird thing, just tried BF4, Guild Wars 2, Tomb Raider, and Dead Island, screen is full screen on those games. Sleeping Dogs and Assassins Creed Black Flag are not, inch black borders around the screen. Tried changing resolutions in those, tried flicking between fullscreen and windowed on those 2 but no change. I didnt change one thing tonight on my Pc, just sat down with a ruby hoping to play some AC

hmm interesting, now its just Assassins Creed doing it. Reinstall the game me thinks
