Faulty graphic memory or overheating card, possibly fubared drivers?

As I said I have had this on 2 if not 3 different sets of drivers? :(

This is what my old sli 6800gt's were displaying shorty before they died on me.

Doh!

Its faulty memory, my HD4870 did the same thing although had red lines going everywhere and an RMA to sapphire was needed.

And they replaced it OK with no hassle?

Gutted, out of the whole rig I got from OcUK (not saying its their fault mind) I have had to replace the ram, monitor, PSU and now the Graphics, only had the setup a few months....

So you think it needs to go back then chap..?

It was the reason I said "possibly fubared drivers?" ;)

The real obvious sign of a ****** card is if you get corruption on the POST screen or in BIOS, thats even before drivers have been called.

Ah I see! ;)

Well I don't seem to get that but if I just reboot the corruption is still apparent (see below) but if I turn the pc off for a bit then back on its fine?

Quick question, can't see contact details on support page at OcUK for ATI/AMD

Lol who shall I raise an RMA with?? :)

I purchased the whole system on the 19/02/09 so do I still go back to OcUK to RMA?
Yup for 12 months after purchase they are your keepers!

You need a PCI-E card to test really *or* phone-a-friend with a PCI-E based system and ask him nicely if you can rip his machine apart to test your card! :p
