I'm wanting to grab a new screen 24" for the high def res and higher gaming res. got a couple 20"'s at the mo. I've had a couple NEC screens before, aswell as Lg, Dellx3, Belinea(when widescreen was first out, it rocked 
) and a couple others. NEC have always been widely regarded and building a few computers for other people i always recommended slightly more expensive NEC screens as just everything seems almost perfect on them.
now the question is, how come there has been a 24" NEC screen in the states for absolutely ages, and i think even the new 24" is out over there now, cheaper than most of our screens, and neither are available here?
Used to be able to get NEC screens fine, but the uk seems to have virtually none, very few of the big normal companies have them, and no one has the 24" that i've seen.
Any idea's when they are coming. LIkewise, though more with CRT's, iiyama's have always been very good, and theirs a same(slightly cheaper) than the samsung 245b 24" coming out, any news about its quality.
Gonna be used heavily for gaming, and some high def stuff, then in the future bluray/hd watching but thats less important.
getting so fed up with the uk tft market, being hugely marked up prices over most of the world, lack of availability, and lots of screens just not being sold here at all.
