I am trying to force a 183 or 166 divider on my A64 system using 2GB mix and match ram (2x512 paired + 2x512 paired).
However, the first pair is corsair and is rated at 2-2-2-5, while the second pair is cheapo kingston and rated at 3-3-3-8. Both are PC3200.
So I need to run them both on a divider to get them around 205Mhz using 3-3-3-8 timings to stay close to spec of the cheapo (the corsairs are fine up to 250Mhz).
The problem! I set the dividers but the Bios will ignore them and will set a 133 divider and run the mem at 158Mhz
I am trying to run HTT 245 x Multi 11 ~ 2.7Ghz, and need 183 divider for 208Mhz memory.
I am frustrated, any ideas?
