Alright,
So I just got back from Sweden, went to Dreamhack over there, was all fun. And I get to setting my PC up.
First of all, all is good, then 2nd boot, it fails.
It doesnt show any sort of screen, so I play with the memory a bit and it starts to boot - I remove my Mushkin and booster and put some normal in.
Then after 3/4 minutes, it freezes. And now it wont boot! So I flash it all, and it boots, but now, whenever I go into Bios settings it freezes again!
So I left it for 3 hours, and it worked once more, got into settings, set up boot drive and got into Windows, then OMG, crash fail again after about 2 minutes - it just reset.
So I was thinking temperatures or somthing. Iv got a good vapochill heatsink, so definatly not the CPU, but the memory is super hot?!
So I change my PSU, make sure it's not overvolting my Memory or somthing, but it still is!?!
Im using an Asrock 939 motherboard that I volt modded a few weeks ago to give 3.2v to the memory. I know this means it's warmer, but the memory I think is too hot, is it possible that a dodgy PSU I was using before has messed up the motherboards power thingys? Or that my motherboard just got banged too much in transit?
Is there any other componments I should test, and how, got any opinions before I fork out on a new motherboard?
Thanks.
