what's gone wrong???

Until yesterday my PC was running perfectly with no problems. About half 4 this morning it randomly restarted and before it got through to loading windows i switched it off at the mains. Trying to restart it this morning and nothing happened. No post, no beeps, just some fans spinning and a no dispay message on the monitor.

I've tried several things to resolve this but nothing seems to have worked. I've tried resetting the CMOS, reseating the graphics card and booting with 1 stick of memory, no joy.

Trying to find the cause of this is less than easy, i tried booting with no ram and got the no ram beep code. Then tried with no graphics card but went back to no error codes.

Any ideas of what the hell is wrong with this and maybe how to solve it greatly appreciated.

i did try that, same result as with the card in. Fans spinning, no beeps.

Another point though, when the PC is powered on it will power on for 5 seconds then restart, it only does this once though.

possibly, hope there's still a warranty on the thing if it is that! jut praying its not the mobo.
