Hi all

Whats happend to the Fractal Design Define R3 mini ? Overclockers don't seem to sell it anymore and I thought this case was just released.

Is there problems with this case and does the sound proofing still come of as I had a r2 and was bad for it.

Cheers

I didn't think they had it in stock at all yet?

Yes the cloth isn't properly glued down to the bitumen on the side panels - mine was peeling off at the edges (very little), but can be fixed with a bit of glue.

R1/2/3 doesn't apply to the mini.
The R3 is the mid tower case for full size atx boards. The define mini is for micro atx boards.

bought one

just wanting to know if a noctua 120mm fan would be good to keep this case cool as i am installing a passive a HR-02 HS.

everything in my case is passive as its going to be a HTPC but wanting some good silent case fans as i dont want it loud but want good air flow was looking at the notuca nf-s12b fans or the Sharkoon Silent Eagle modula as i just dont know which is best for low noise and good air flow.

just been looking at teh HR-02 its 162mm high will it fit this case ?

does not matter i can not fit it as i have a p8p67-m pro motherboard and the hr-02 is 140mm wide and i have a sapphie 6570 passive gfx card that has ahs that overhangs a littile and i dont think it will fit as its about 142mm to the back of the gfx card.

what a joke was all up for a passive hs and the thing will not fit

unless i face teh HR-02 up instead of facing to teh back
