Anyone from Ireland? Allegedly the Irish press and possibly the BBC have been working with - or possibly infiltrating - Antifa.

There’s nothing on the BBC website and the Irish Times and Irish Independent and even the Express don’t mention it at all in their reports:

What do the authorities expect when they impose such things on communities without consultation or a vote?

It’s only natural that people will eventually rebel against such things.

From the first link:

"(The Burkean is relying on local sources in Coolock for this piece. Since it is a breaking story, this article merely relays what is being discussed at street-level and on social media. As such this information should be considered unconfirmed, and therefore we refrain from identifying any of the persons involved for legal reasons. Most the video/images can be found on X/Twitter)"

In other words, "we can't say what we want to because it's not accurate and we'll get sued but let us heavily imply this is indeed factual."

e: they also missed out a word in their disclaimer, not exactly cementing my belief in their credentials.

I remember when antifa were defending the grooming gang members in Rochdale. When the locals found out a small riot broke out.

They seem to be a reactionary group. If they deem the "far right" are against something they defend it.

I think in Ireland most people tend to be socially left when it wasn't directly about them. But the immigration issue as put it on their own doorstep.

So you didn’t bother with the second? You know, the one with ‘Confirmed’ in the title?

No. If you're requesting people spend time on this spurious, at best, 'story' then perhaps you'd lead with an article that gives any semblance of believability. I read the first link and that was enough to douse any further interest.
