I would like some confirmation on this from some experts !

My two PALIT 9600Gso Smart 1024mb's are only showing in Dev.Manager & Belarc Advisor as 512 Mb each.
The Bios post shows 1024Mb video memory (I presume this is the primary display adapters' memory and not both)
However, GpU-Z shows the name as being 'NVIDIA GeForce 9600GSO 512', but the memory is showing as 1024Mb.
Is there a way of editing the name of the card in the Bios, as PALIT couldn't be bothered to do it, or should I get another program to check it, or should I just leave it and not worry ?

Thanks in advance

I am no expert, but if you want to change the card name you will need to edit and flash bios.

theres a program call NiBiTor that will let you edit your graphics card bios - name of card, clock speeds ,voltages, timings and a lot more.

Look here to download.

To be honest I would leave it alone, theres nothing to worry about .

Meh, flashing GPU bios' can be risky and I certainly wouldn't recommend it for something like changing the name of the card.

I agree that there's no need to fix something that's not broken, but I've flashed a dozen cards without issue, a few of them mulitple times :)
