This Indian woman keeps calling me and pardon my ignorance here but I have no idea what she's saying, I believe it's Punjabi or Urdu, or whatever they speak?

She keeps calling and going, Kaan?

I think she has the wrong number but how can I tell her?! I answer and tell her she has the wrong number, so she mutters something and hangs up. Then does the exact same thing again. 16 times she's called now this morning. :o

If I don't know about Indian languages, what do you want me to do? Study them before I start the thread? I already apologised in advance for not knowing, what more do you want?

Yep I think the sex noises idea would work - kind of equivalent to stopping someone sitting next to you on a bus by patting the seat and giving fellow travellers the eyes. Please don't blame me if you get arrested though.

in hindi it is:

phone mat karo = don't phone

mujse phone mat karo = don't phone me

p.s im learning hindi at the moment so these may not be 100% but it should get the message across :D

urdu and punjabi are very similar so she should understand

My Hindi isn't perfect but it would be "Aapne Kya pehna hai?"

Oh acha? LoL

iCraig, if you really want to be agressive, you could google for swearsaurus, and look up for insults in hindi or punjabi

more importantly what is Hindi for ''nothing, big boy'' otherwise you may be talking to someone in a burka.
Just shouting ''wrong number'' louder and louder will get the message across

From what it sounds like, you're right about her having a wrong no. if nothing else :p "kaun?" means "who?"

Try saying "Aap ke paas galat number hai" which means "you have a wrong. no"

(either that or you're asking for her no. of the two ^_^ )
