Whats is the maximum ram and type I can use?

Hi,

Just been taking a peek at my old orders and realised that the amount of RAM I have in my machine and my proc (though that is another story) is rather poor, at least by other standards.

This is my mobo: Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3P PCI Express DDR2

and I was wondering what the maximum amount of RAM I can put in it and of what type (I'm assuming DDR2).

Also, would I have any issues other than turning the machine off, removing the RAM, putting the new ones in and turning back on again?

Only thing id do when changing memory is set the bios to read the spd settings and adjust when the new sticks are in just incaser your new sticks dont post with the current serrings

I already have 2x2gig in there, is it safe to purchase another set of 2x2 or would i need them to be all the same?
