my nvidia nforce audio (from my nvidia nforce3 shuttle sn95g5v2) or my sb live 1024(retro) ??
Was just wondering... I play some games and I was getting the impression earlier that the chipset was getting a bit hot and thus the sound quality was reduced, i might just be imagining this, But anyway it got me thinking, is the 1024 powerful enough for modern day games, and would it be better quality than my onboard?
Only downside is im moving back to uni 2moro where iv got 4.1s... the 1024 doesnt support them, but i can make do with 2 quite easily for now until i thought about replacing the 1024 if i would get superior quality and better overall system performance... for a decent price( Preferably under £30
2nd hand or clearance is good enough, i only want 4.1 support...)
