Whats my RAM runing at?

Hi,

3dmark06 says my RAM is 533mhz and CPU-Z says 266mhz at 5:4. I asked for 1066mhz RAM, what is it runing at?

533mhz.

You'll need to up the memory ratio to set it to 1066mhz. Probably the memory voltage too.

It's double data so the 533MHz is 266MHz x2 or thereabouts.

Will it make a lot of difference to apps and games?

dont know about % performacne increase but with out any overclocking tthe closest you will get to 1066 will be if you change the 5:4 in bios to 2:3 that will make your ram run at 1000mhz to do this you may need to change ram volateg also. if you look somewere on the packaging it will say what the ram is designed to run and how mmuch voltage it likes

, it can vary from maker to maker soo allways best to check.
