A guy local to me has a 980 for sale and I'm tempted to get it.. Just want to know what sort of level its on compare to the latest GPU's on the market... its the standard version not the Ti

Have to treat myself to it then if its on par with a 1060 as my build is not the highest of specs so 980 will fit in well

fyi the 290,390,480,580 are all pretty close performance
was surprised when I compaired 390 to 580 theres a gap in things... but different games are faster on 390 vs 580

I'm pretty pleased with my evga 980 non ti for what its worth

More grunt if your below the 4GB memory limit than a 1060, so for 1080p gr8 etc
