bike key
door entry fob
funky holder for glasses wipe
saphire blue LED light
dell 64meg memory key
removed: swiss army knife (removed as some clubs wouldnt let me in with this on - obviously.... yet some did, bizarrely!)

Assume you're a prison officer or something like that?

Personally I used to carry a chunky marker pen which had the same use, but it could be discarded at any time, ie dropped down a drain.

there's also a tool called a "weevil" which is similar, but hollowed out. It's intended for collecting samples of drinks if you think you or your friends have had them spiked, or by females if they suspect they have been date raped. Law is a bit iffy on them as they *can* be used as a kubatan / yawahra but in this day and age it's important to be able to store potential evidence I guess.

Not a lot, 3different keys to get into my flat, a plastic thingy telling me where my flat is and a plastic key fob so i can get into the uni computer rooms. Nothing intersting really.

so you have all your flat keys and your address on one fob?

thats not such a good idea y'know.

how many people here keep their car keys and house keys on one bunch? hmm.... so we can break into your house, and load up your car with tonnes of stuff, then drive off? :s

Fishing rods.

People generally leave their keys in the hall on a table. It has been known for theives to fish for keys, then come back late at night or the next day when you're at work (car on drive, cos you couldn't find your keys in the morning).

I quite often see bunches of keys with car keys on - people leave them on tables in pubs, at their desk at work.

Ahem, I appear to know too much about all this so I will explain that my father was old bill for about 30 odd years so I've picked up the "you shouldn't be doing that" gene I think!

Well that's an obvious solution - don't leave your keys right near the door and don't leave them unattended.
Although I suppose common sense is often lacking in too many people.

One assumes most people here are in posesion of /some/ sense, but after a few pints, people leave all sorts of stuff on lying around. Keys, phones, girlfriends...

Never occurred to me to put my memory stick on it..... then again it does look like something out of Star Trek so perhaps not :/

actually, thats what made me start the thread. id just put my dell key on there and though "wonder what gadgets other people put on there!"
