cockfosters is dead. only 1 pub for crying out loud!

I would second this. I also live in Southgate/Oakwood and it is a nice area. Quick links into London and to the M25. Cockfosters is very nice too and, if you don't mind a lack of public transport links -Enfield Chase is nice.
