Whats sake like?

I've got some, it's a cheaper brand but to me it sort of tastes like a diluted sherry with a little something else in there and less of a grape-y taste. I've been drinking it cold, though, and apparently it's traditionally consumed warm so I might just be doing it wrong. Or just have spent too little to get anything decent. :p

Like wine, there are lots of different types. It doesn't all taste the same. There are some delicious ones.

If it's a supermarket chain like Asda, they're likely to sell the most accessible types, so you're probably OK with choosing one you like you look of.

For best results drink it whilst sat in a armchair with one wheel removed and rock back and forth muttering "wonder whats going to happen next"

You should only drink it after ordering your student to sand the floor and paint the fence. Otherwise it loses all taste.

Ahhh, learn something new every day. I've had it in a Japanese restaurant before and it came out warm, so I assumed it was the way things were done.

Assumption eh? The mother of all **** up's.

How nice to see someone say "oh, I was wrong, thanks for telling me" in a nice, genuine way. On an internet forum.

Something that rarely happens.

Sake, fermented rice grains alcoholic drink, alcohol concentration varies.
You can drink it either hot or cold.
I had it when I was in Japan with my friend and his dad. I had to drink some and it was bloody horrible.
Apparently, when you are in a good mood, it'll have a sweet after taste.
Though I was pretty sure I was having a good time until I tasted it.
