Hi, I've just ordered a new rig and after Civ 6 and Cities Skylines I'll want to put some time into a space based 4x game. I've played a lot of Gal Civ 2 so 3 was my first choice but Endless Space 2 and Solaris also look good. Your opinion is appreciated. Cheers.

Thanks for the replies guys. I played Home World a lot as a kid so if Stellaris is in the same vein i'm sure i'll like it. I tend to leave games for a year before I pick them up so all the launch bugs and balance issues have been ironed out. I think the latest patch on CalCiv3 has stopped the star base spamming and improved AI. Cheers all.
