Budget £300, i want a case that will keep my parts nice and cool. Not interested in watercooling. The budget is £300 but im also willing to spend more money on extra fans.

I would say the silverstone fortress ft02 if you want style or Haf X if you want raw performance and aren't bothered about the way it looks.

i have the coolermaster haf x bought it purly because every post/review i read said it was excellent for air cooled systems great airflow and so on, but depends on if you like the look of it http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-203-CM&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=
Not bothered by looks, i go with performance everytime:D

I was actually looking at that case, it does seem pretty good. Is there any worth while mods like extra fans i could put it, or is it ok.

Fine without, better with, extra fans

It is OK without extra fans but has brackets built in for extra fans behind the HDD cage. I added some notua ultra quiet fans there and added reistors to the two 22/24cm (I can't remeber) exhaust fans built into the top pf the case which kept efficiency whilst reducing noise slightly. I really like this case.

Cool, thanks for the reply.

It looks like going by overclockers description, you can have 4 optional 120mm fans, is that right.

Bakes got the ATCS 840 on its way to me soon and I can not wait lots of ways to improve it. Mines getting powdercoated inside black at the min also having the psu filter modded to come out the back so I can use the bottom fan without having to take it out each time to clean the filter. Ive gone for a Scythe 140/120mm for the bottom and for the HD racks im going for a couple of CM Sickleflow fans. You can replace the top fans with X3 120mm fans and add a rad up the top without any modding.

i would also say the antec 1200.

never owned one but by looking at the fan set up i would say it is superb for cooling.

No its not m8 had one was noisey and heavy as hell, I then switched to the original HAF when it came out and my temps dropped by a lot. There are much better air coolign cases out there for the same price or cheaper.

Dont get me wrong its not a terrible case but for that money you can get much much better.
