What's the best AntyVirus program right now ?

Looking for something good to keep my computer safe. I remember Norton used to b one of the best some time ago, but now I see everyone is saying it isn't so good anymore. What's good out there. I don't mind spendin money.
 
Kaspersky if you want to spend money

Or Active Virus Shield, which is almost identical to Kasperksy (same AV engine), if you want a free one.

You may aswell try Active Virus Shield and see how you get on with it before spending any money :)

NOD32 has won the 40th virus bullitin!!! :)

now go to virus bullitins website and compare against all others. and yes i am a partner with NOD32 it roxxors your boxxers!

I have to say I agree with this chap, I am also a partner. I have it installed on 1500+ machines and not once have I had bother!
 
Who cares, all the top ones are much the same. Common sense plays a large part of keeping your machine/network free of virus'es and the like. I just wonder if you haven't can't be bothered to do a search on the hundreds of threads on the topic, will you be bothered to keep your machine(s) maintained.

Sorry i'm just grumpy this evening. :D

Kaspercy here, just for the better gui.
both use minimal resources so its basically which ever you prefer..
Just use the trial version of both programs and buy which ever you fancy.
