What's the best "Budget" Widescreen with GYSNC?

I'm thinking of upgrading my Dell Gsync 1440p monitor to a Widescreen, but paying nearly £1000 for one is out of my budget. So anything for around a max of £600 would be good.

Whats the difference between Gsync and Gsync compatible? My ROG Swift from 2016ish is a fully Gsync monitor but nowadays most monitors market themselves as Gsync compatible, what's that about ?

Gysnic compatible monitors are Freesync monitors that are, well, compatible. They are not Gsync monitors in themselves.

Ive been holding off buying the Dell 34in to see if the price drops a bit, its been as low as £350 before, doesnt have GSYNC but from what ive read its compatible

Are curved better?

It does come down to preference, but for ultrawides that are 34" or larger I would say the curve improves the experience.

If you can visit a local shop or somewhere that might have one set up I would recommend going to take a look, being able to see one in person would probably be a big help prior to ordering.
