had this discussion with mates on ts last night when the sale came up.

out of whats on offer i went for red alert 3 and expansion.

i also got tiberian twilight, my mate says its **** cause u dont have the uasual base building but i got it purly to see for my slef for 3 quid.

But I think the best one was the original Red Alert, followed by RA2

Loved RA 1 never really enjoyed RA2. Generals was good too, spent many hours playing with mates.

What is c&c3 like? Tempted to get it while its on offer on steam

Its been said already but Red Alert 2 (/w or /wo Yuri's revenge) is fairly awesome.

C&C is such a simple game to get right, im stunned that they somehow managed screw this up progressively more with every game post RA2. Generals is however acceptable, beyond that your on your own!

Red Alert 1 for me, the sound effects have all been burned into my memory forever.

New construction options, building, sold, cancelled, shake it baby!

That game had a soul.

c&c 3 I thought wasn't half bad, ra 3 and 4 are not worth bothering with...ra 3 has a high metacritic rating for some reason which can be safely ignored.

Generals:Zero hour wins all the time.
You just can't beat playing China with dem tanks, dat music and Black Lotus!

Although GLA 'AK47's for EVERYONE!' never gets old.
