So I'm *kinda* psu limited, I have a coolermaster silent pro 500w.

Spec:

http://www.coolermaster.com/service/support/model/RS-500-AMBA-D3/

So it's for my living room, a sorta htpc which has just gradually grown into making it as fast as possible for abit of living room gaming on the sofa with a controller.

So, what I'll be having is likely a Maximus Gene V mATX board or a Sniper, 3570k with a clock around 4.3ghz or so. Will only have an SSD for drives, no optical bays. 8GB of ram.

Do you think I could stretch to a 7950? Baring in mind I'd want to put a little OC on this too, think I may be asking abit too much so what's likely to be the best gpu I could run with not too much strain on the psu? :D

EDIT presuming the newer cards are even more efficient so let me know I'm a little out of the loop..

It's all going in a Lian-Li v-300 but I've made custom side panels and on the side with the gpu it will have a 80mm fan at the front of the case and then two black apache 120mm fans firing straight at the gpu so it will be nice and cool. :)

It probably won't be the most demanding games but who knows, could be bf4 story etc.

That doesn't look like that many watts pulled concidering the spec, I would never be benching or stress testing, it is just the 12v rail that is a slight concern.
