Whats the best in-car system?

Ive been looking at a few on halfords and other online places and they all seem to do the same, is it just down to looks?

I want one that has bluetooth, usb and aux, either satnav thats built in, or atleast capable of accepting Avic gps unit, cd/dvd aswell.

Does anyone have any personal recommendations?

Its going to be fitted into a 08 Astra.

Here one ive been looking at just for an example.

The only thing I have to recommend is make sure the stereo you pick can read from sd cards, single handedly its the best feature I've ever had on a car stereo

If I remember correctly they were raving about them on a couple of the vauxhall sites. I think it has a version 2 as well. There used to be a website where you could spec it up with TV addons / reverse parking senser cameras, all sorts. I'm struggling to find anything beyond ebay now though.

It has the added bonus of being directly plug and play as well. Not a single wiring adapter is needed as I understand it. It's worth bearing in mind as when I fitted an oldish JVC unit into my Astra G I ended up spending the best part of £40 on ISO and steering wheel control adapters.

I think it should also flush mount against your existing dash surround and needs no blanking plate at all. Another small bonus.

Do not buy from Car audio centre they are con artists...

Car audio direct or Car audio security only.

Personally for what you want pioneer is the only make id stick in my car. Kenwood at a push.
