Howdy.
I have just ripped out the BT Home Hub as my G1 and sisters laptop just suddenly stopped having access to the internet and my 360 was complaining about NAT.
Anyway this is what it used to be.
ADSL - Home Hub
Home Hub:
Netgear DG834G (Ethernet)
Family PC (Ethernet)
Dads Laptop (Wireless)
Dads G1 (Wireless)
Sisters Laptop (Wireless)
Netgear:
360 (Ethernet)
My PC (Ethernet)
G1 (Wireless)
Wii (Wireless)
The reason I have the Netgear in my room is because the wireless from downstairs will not reach my room. I use the router mainly as a switch and wireless access point.
However having 2 routers connected to each other caused major problems. All I want is wireless access in my room and a switch. At least that's what I think I need. However I don't think such a device exists? A WAP with 4 port switch?
Basically I need 2 WAPs and a switch. If I can use my existing Netgear router then that would be great but it doesn't support... that thing which lets 2 WAPs connect to each other. lol
Any ideas?
Thanks
