Originally I was going to buy a GTX 1080 but it is out of my price range so I am now thinking of the following 2 options with a maximum budget of £500:-


1. RX480 (Based on the rumoured specs and performance) + 27" 1440 Freesync monitor

2. A GTX 1070 + keep my Iiyama 1080P monitor

Which option would give the best gaming experience?

Yes, I will do.

I was hoping to get opinions on if the freesync monitor + lower framerate graphics card would be better than a higher framerate graphics card and a standard monitor.

I would really like a 1070 + Gsync monitor but it is completely out of my price range.
