Just curious about what is best on my home av set up.
1st i dont have a sexy flat screen yet, but in time maybe.
At present i have a 28" widescreen JVC tv, great picture as far as i can tell, but then i dont know any better.
Now i have a SONY AV amp/ receiver.
My DVD player (JVC) has s-video, composite (R,G,B), Scart, video out, coax out etc( No optical), I use the scart output straight to my TV. and the digital coax from my DVD player goes to my COAX input on my amp using Monster Cable interlink datalink 100. 1metre.
Now im pretty much sure that sound wise i have the correct and best of availble connections but is scart the best of the options i have for sending the image to the TV ? My tv has 3 scarts, s-video and a single yellow phono video in.
