RAM confuses me. What RAM is best out of the ones below for this particular setup?
- Intel Core 2 DUO E6600
- Asus P5W64-WS Pro Intel 975X
- EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS
A fair degree of price variation here, but is the cheapest the best value? Does spending extra REALLY make that much difference given this particular spec? The 6400C4 GeIL comes highly recommended by most, but I'm just wondering...
- GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit - £193.86 inc VAT
- CellShock 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C4 800MHz Dual Channel Kit - £223.24 inc VAT
- CellShock 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 PC2-8000C5 1000MHz Dual Channel Kit - £234.99 inc VAT
- CellShock 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 PC2-8000C4 1000MHz Dual Channel Kit - £281.99 inc VAT
- GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC8000C4 1000MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit - £334.86 inc VAT
