i trying to decide on what gfx card to go for i am looking at either 2 gforce 560's or 1 580 or just keep my gtx 295 any thoughts?

Hi there,

Personally, I would suggest keeping your GTX 295 for the next few months (it is still a really powerful card and plays modern games well). Then when the shiny new 28nm cards come out at the start of next year you can put your money down and get a big performance boost for your cash (compared to the relatively small one you would get now).

28nm cards???? u have any links for them as i not aware of these?
 
Here and here is some info. Since it is a pretty big jump from 40nm (used with current-gen cards like the GTX 580 and HD 6970) to 28nm, then expect pretty big performance increases for GPUs using the same area of silicon.
