What's the best tablet for an OAP?

I'm thinking android or maybe an amazon. Not an I thing.

£300 budget, up to £500 for the a good device.

Thanks... Yes something responsive is crucial... Her old tabA that's broken... I was never really impressed with due to input lag

Any opinions on the Samsung s6 lite 10.4 inch?

Seems decent without breaking the bank? Seen one on clearence for £245...

It won't be used for anything stressfull but I do want it to have good touch input.

She has a basic android phone and a Windows pc.
The phone is literally just for texts and phone calls.
No intention or desire for interoperability, so an ipad isn't out of the question.

SO i'm gonna use the Samsung s6 lite 10.4 inch as a worst case option.... some reviews say it's a bit sluggish, which for a cheap/mid tablet I think is not the best thing. I'm also no fan of the galaxy tab A she had.. it was basicaly a piece of junk.

Fire tablet HD10 sounds interesting...but it sounds too cheap to be true.
