Yes I know... the word "kit" can get you hanged in some countries, but this is what i'm looking for as a temporary solution as opposed to shelling out for a good custom rig like I used to have... I don't have the time or money at the moment to mod or customise anything besides my evening meal.

So... what is currently the best performing kit on the market that isn't too loud and is going to perform as good, if not better, than the best air-cooling.

*hangs head in shame*

:p

second the waterchill vote.... just steer well clear of any kit below £100... it'd only be as good as good air cooling... and the risk is greater. much greater. *stares at fried PC sat in puddles of UV-reactive water*

Third the apex, lots of upgradability with it too, always abonus... ive yet to read a bad review, still not enought to sway me over from custom

hmm thanks for the info gents, that APEX doesn't look too half bad at all reading the reviews... may try to pick one up on the cheap. Cheers. :)

Hi,

I use the Asetek extreme with a Swiftek Radbox to mount the dual 120mm Rad on the back of my Akasa 62 case. Works well and keeps my overclocked and overvolted FX57 at around 28 degrees idle and 34 degrees full load at 3.2GHz.

Its neat and easy to fit and if you get the Xtreme edition rather than standard, you can controll the pump speed too.
