Hi all

Does anyone still bother using Driver Cleaner to remove all traces of old Graphics drivers or does Windows 7 do a good enough job its self at uninstalling an old driver???
I hardly ever bother changing drivers at all these days but I've got a new GTX 680 coming on Tuesday ( hopefully ).

Good enough unless you run into issues and then you can try other things. For the majority of people an uninstall using the built in uninstall facility is fine.

+1.

Before I put my 670 in to my new PC (in sig) I tried it in my old system which had a 5870 in there.

All I did was uninstall all drivers, rebooted, deleted all driver related folders in programs files/x64, turn off.

Take out old card, put new card in, and then installed new drivers.

No need for driver sweeper.

I un-install with control panel, then restart once booted up I run driver sweeper remove the left overs, it ask to restart again then I install the new drivers.
