I'm a casual PC Gamer since the launch of the X360 and still play some games on the PC like Black & White 2 mainly sim games and some FPS games like Stalker Shadow Of Cynobal if it ever comes out. I've had a good look around at some of these cards and thought of only two but are they any good?

XFX GeForce 6800 XT Extreme Edition 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (PVT42E-UDE3) (GX-067-XF).

HIS Excalibur ATI Radeon X800 GTO ICEQII TURBO 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (RX800GTO-256ICEQT) (GX-044-HT).

for that price you would get far better performance from the 7600gt.

even the 7300gt would give those cards a good chase especially since it can be had for like 60 quid.

I got that one from OcUK. Default clocks are 560/1400 and mine's running at 610/1600 without any mods and on the stock cooler.

2nd hand x800gto2 are worth looking out for. I have seen them go for as little as £70 and your basically getting an x850xt pe that clocks even higher.

Otherwise I'd say go for the BFG 7600gt.

Look at 6600GTs instead of 6800XTs, they're generally better.
