whats the better cpu for my needs

q9550 or e4500 i have both kicking around and want to put one in a old tower and run a media streamer come file sharing box. wont be on all day long but just when I need it.

or sell it all and buy something else?

if you're running something like ps3 media server, then the q9550 I would imagine.
