What's the 'cheapest' thing you've done today??

Following on from the 'Most manly' thread, what's the cheapest thing you've done today??

I managed to trash the bumper of my 200 year old poxy volvo on the back of a young ladies shiny new Golf the other day Oops!!

Anyway, rather than get a new bumper, which would probably cost about half as much as the car does anyway, i decided the bumper could be repaired............

It is now held onto the car, and held together, with wire and cable ties
Sling a bit of silicon over it and into the cracks and it's good to go! And as you can see from the pic you'd never know

instead of getting the bus home when i was done in school i asked my driving instructor to pick me up from there, meaning i had to hang round for an hour and a bit.

meeting today with all the fat cats and the leftover m&s sandwiches i took home to eat tomorrow night as i will be going straight out after work. they look really nice though like king prawn and crab

lost a good two stone since the last time i wore a suit so the old one couldn't be persuaded to pass muster one more time.

Been on my own all day

Had to get out of bed and make my own tea this morning. Took me 10 minutes to work out how the kettle worked

I took the bus to work instead of drive because it was half the price, compared to parking.
I do that every time I go to work at that branch though so it wasn't exclusive to today
