What's the deal with T-mobile?

My company just migrated from Vodafone to T-mobile and now pretty much every call we make stutters. Signal quality is always really low. And using it on the road is, well, completely useless. Some places don't get a signal at all. It's like T-mobile haven't upgraded any of their radio masts in like 8 years?

Just wondering if this is how T-mobile are for everyone or if they've put us on some really cheapo contract.

Moving back to Vodafone next month, hoo-rah!

Nope thats what its like for everyone hence why they are not primarily a business network.

I switched from Orange to T mobile purely because i dont run my own business anymore and having 100% call stabilty doesnt matter now. If i still had my business i wouldnt touch tmob with a long pole as there is nothing more embarrasing than having droipped calls and illegible conversations. Of course there will be more people along in a minute to defend them but then how many of them make serveral thousands worth of call time minutes a month?

They are ok but they are still "rough and ready" and they are what i expected really

Hmm nope tmobile is perfectly fine for me, in fact i left o2 to go to tmobile because o2 coverage of 3g really does suck...well for me it did probably because im in the docklands and half the time i couldnt make nor receive a call. But Tmobile have been good as gold, havent had a dropped call yet in the past 3 months or have i lost reception unless im underground or in a tunnel etc.

we left "skodaphone" to go to t mobile....what a mistakea to makea

were now with o2 for there exelent blackberry service.......

(we have 92 in use with the company) and no complaints so far.

its amazing how well a brand works.

anyone heard how great the Virgin network is? I hear it often.
who hears how bad the t-mob network is? again i hear its bad often.

madness!

t-mob have spent millions each year (lots and lots of millions) on upgrading the network.

Just one of those things Morba, up until i moved offices to the docklands i nevert had any complaint or issue with o2...soon as i moved into the docklands i had no end of problems with o2 coverage.
So far 4 mths into my tmobile contract i have yet to drop a call or lose signal...Im not one to say that o2 is better than all the rest or vice versa...they all have their weak and strong points. o2 served me bloody well for 5 yrs before i jumped ship and the only reason for that was crap reception where i work but also the fact that o2 couldnt even match what tmobile were offering me flext50 with web n walk.

I've tried all the mobile providers there are, T-Mobile is the second one that impressed me and I am currently with them because they had a great deal going but I regret not refreshing my Orange contract and getting a new phone.

Orange has never let me down, except for charging me to fix their stupid onlien account errors.

T-Mobile however, I've had plenty of issues mostly of which are quality-wise. Bad reception and what not. I think Orange is the best and most solid provider in the UK, not sure about if you travel a lot though.

That's odd, considering the network Virgin operates on is owned by T-Mobile.

i work for t-mobile and have to admit that in areas there is a lot of problems with bad signal and dropped calls, but in others its perfect. best advise is call them before taking a contract and get the signal checked in major areas where ul use the phones (home/work etc)
