Hi Whats the diffence

Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 "LGA775 Allendale" 2.20GHz (800FSB) - Retail

And

Intel Core 2 Duo E2180 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.00GHz (800FSB) - Retail

Yes I know different clock and cache.

If I buy the 2180 I dont get free P&P and save £11 over the 4500.

Now £11 not worth worrying about.

But is the 2180 core better or worse than the 4500.

If ya know what I mean.

Buying set up today.

Actually, to the best of my knowledge, the E2000 series are allendales with half the cache disabled. The E6000 series are Conroes, and the difference is that Conroe supports hardware virtualization and has 4MB of onboard cache to Allendale's 2MB.
