Whats the difference between these two boards

Is there much difference between these boards, or it is much of a muchness?

It is pretty much of a muchness really. You need to go with what you are most comfortable with. With the P67 chipset I have gone with Gigabyte, X58 I went for Asus RE3 boards, but not this time round. But that was purely based on the performance I needed for my hobby and some reservations about the EFI bios that was being adopted. Both are very good motherboards and regardless of which one you plumb for you will have a pretty good system.

though as much,

pc will be used for gaming, porn movies and the odd bit of photoshop/lightroom nothing too spectacular.

I went for the Gigabyte P67A-UD4. Built the system up yesterday and apart from a few small teething problems its going like a rocket & I am a very happy bunny
