I'm currently speccing and buying components for my low noise loop and noticed there are two different pa140.3's for sale on ocuk. I was not aware of two different versions, is it just the bundled extras that increse the price or are they actually different rad? The weight difference says they are different rads though, anyone know whats the difference?

The cheaper ones pic looks like the 15mm spacing one, so yeh i can't understand what the difference is and the price diff.

Maybe one of the OC guys will know more and post when they see this.

The the reduced distance between the fan mounting holes to allow a flush installation of the fans is probably the most obvious change to the radiator. With this redesign finally all standard radiator grills are compatible with the Thermochill radiators

It's really odd as i have seen the cheaper (heavier) version for sale and it lists it as having 15mm fan spacing as well.

Having a 2nd look, the fan spacing is the same on both, IE:15mm so the newer ones, cheaper one is 60mm deep, more expensive one is 62mm deep.

Also expensive one if u look at the pictures comes with a lot more screws and a gasket too, but worth it over the cheaper one, not for me i think, both will cool about the same.

I think the pa140.3 is just a smidge too tall to fit in my case, if im going 140.3 it's going to have to be the slightly shorter sr-1 420 :)

IIRC, the newer Thermochills have a larger gap between the core and the fan mounting. Like having fan spacers, cooling performance is better. Best to check that with OcUK though.
