What's the difference in memory?

Just wondering:My pc shop wants to use for my upcoming rig the Corsair Dominators 6Gb for around 230 euro's.But on the OcUK website i see memory with exactly the same specs and cas latency for around 50/60 euros less?Anyone can tell me why?I mean OCZ/Kingston/Patriot/Geill/Gskill are all renowned brands?

The dominators are extremely fast and have a beast of a heatsink. I believe they are some of the most overclockable memory on the market.
IMHO if you aren't planning to overclock than I wouldn't bother, save the money and put it towards say an SSD; which will give much better real world performance boost than the corsair would over the other ram.
