Hey Guys,

I currenlty have 1x Corsair TWIN2X 8500C5 DDR2, 2048MB CL5, Kit w/two 1GB Dimm's, E.P.P Technology

Im wanting to get a 2nd 2GB to put into the evga 680i A1 mobo thus making a nice 4Gb build

Problem is im confused all i can seem to find is
2GB (2x1GB) Corsair TwinX DDR2 XMS2 Dominator, PC2-8500 (1066), 240 Pin, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 5

Are these one and the same thing? both seem to have the same spec and timings, but the former costs over £200 and the latter just £100

If they are different can i mix? or would getting a matching pair of one of those be better? if so which pair?

Im looking to overclock quadcore 6600 with full water cooling on mobo/cpu
so really appreciate you help.

Cheers for your help all.

Sunburn

Does your current memory have a XMS850Xv1. or XMS850Xv2. on its label?

If it's XMS850Xv2. then it will run fine with the current Dominator sticks.

And the Dominators are now so cheap because memory prices in general have collapsed over the past few months.
