Whats the difference?

Hi All,

Been thinking about a new build lately and was wondering whats the differenece between the following boards:

Or:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...P45 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

I guess im just wondering if there both as good as each other in terms of OC'ing.

If the deluxe just has a few extra's that are not really essential then I wont bother.

Also, if anyone knows anything else that might be a better choice im all ears.

One last thing, is there a big difference between these boards and x38/48 based boards.

Appreciate any help/advice.

Plus point of the Delux is the better heatsink and the ESATA connector is on the I/O Sheild area instead of a PCI Bracket.

The X38 / X48 boards support dual crossfire at 16x instead of 8x / 16x.

OK cheers, so I guess if im not going to do X-fire and not bothered about the i7 until prices drop, this would be a good choice?

also im guessing that ESTA is a typo and should be ESATA?

Out of curiosity is there a reason your only looking at asus boards as there are other equally good boards out as well.
