Bascially I'm trying to milk a little more use out of my computer, before upgrading fully Upgrade will not likely until next year, if I'm honest - so I'm looking at maxing out what I have, for the time being.
Right now I overclock my P4 @ 3524MHz, using a FSB of 235MHz. Obviously this is pushing my 1gb of Geil Goldren Dragon PC3500, because it is running at PC3760 (?) speeds.
Ideally, I'd like to drag out the Geil 3500 for some PC4000 RAM. This would let me stretch my legs when overclocking my CPU. But I'd like 2gb of PC4000 RAM.
At the end of the day, I'm wanting to know if my Asus P4C800-E Deluxe will support PC4000 RAM. It has the latest Beta BIOS installed.
Even if it's not officially support, will I get away with it PC4000 RAM?
Thanks!
