And keeping the same version too! Feel free to include operating systems, and reasons for sticking if you like.

For me, I've used Paintshop Pro 7 for 11 years and MS Office '97 for 12 years. Paintshop Pro 8 had a 10-fold footprint for seemingly very little extra over PSP7. Office '97 I kept because 97-2003 is interchangeable. I also use OpenOffice, in before someone jumps onto the Office 2007 bandwagon :-) Longest running OS was Windows 2000 at 6 years.

Interesting question and I'm going to assume games count. Thinking about it it's probably Command & Conquer: Red Alert which I've consistently gone back to over the years, and as far as I know the freeware release is the same major version. It's by no measure the "most used" software I've ever owned but it's by far the oldest thing I've tried to install at home recently.

hmm same version of something... probably PSP8 for around 5 years now, got it on sale for £15 from a purple video games outlet. second would be winamp, though not sure how many versions I'v used of it.

Hows 20 Years of Using AutoCAD!!...

I've used every version from r4 DOS based with a Tablet, up to the newest 2011 64bit...

Winamp since version 2.06... dunno how long ago that was!! :D

I was going to say Winamp, then I saw the version must stay the same.

It's winamp lite with a classic skin, so it still looks the same :D

Mine is probably Theme Hospital. Had that about 13 years, reinstalled not that long ago.

"Doctor to Inflator Room.."

ICQ99b :p

I'd say windows XP or 2k, I used 2k for YEARS and only started with XP a few years back when 2k's game/DX support started to fall off

Although winamp prolly as I still use the same nullsoft installer .exe I had from back in 2000

I think I have been running ACDSee 3.1 off of a cover disk from probably around sometime in the '90s. Now it's used on my netbook due to it's small footprint.
