What's the longest you've used a particular program version?

on my Home/Work PC - AutoCAD 2006 for about 6 years... well untill I forked out for:

A snap at £6,500 (+subscription)

at Work/Office most of my software is Subscription, so I get the latest when it's released!! :)

Still got Grand Prix Legends on here. It was released in '98. I've kept copying the sim folder from Windows install to Windows install, computer build to build down the line since about 2004 (i.e. not re-installed it from the CD in all that time).

I still play theme hospital every now and then when I'm on the mood, had that since 1997 and I don't think it's been updated in that time either :D

I've used the same version of Directory Opus for many years.

5 years ago I switched to Paint.Net from Photoshop because it looks a lot like Photoshop but does what I need.

SmartboardXP, simply can't live without it and had it at the time XP came out.

Probably Adobe stuff, going back to Macromedia days. PS, FW and Dreamweaver.

I've not upgraded from CS3 yet though as I don't see the point in doing so as it does everything for me that subsequent versions do, albeit they have little tweaks and extras tagged on now. The financial side of upgrading I just can't justify at this time.
