What I mean is have you ever been so engrossed in a series that you've watched one after the other for ages?

Mine is probably an 8 hour session watching the Sopranos when they were on sky box sets.

I also did a couple of 4 hour GOT's sessions when I got into it.

I came in to post the Sopranos too. I think I spent something like 4 hours straight watching the final episodes.

Had some really long sessions of 24 in the past. I only started watching it after season 6, so had all of them to catch up on.

Just one more episode!

I can't do it. After about two or three, my concentration goes and I find I'm not enjoying it so much. I like to have a bit of time to think and absorb the couple of shows I've just watched, or else they just all blur together.

My wife on the other hand will go through a whole series in one sitting if she wants to. Ten episodes in a day, twenty in a weekend, but I find that just sucks the enjoyment out of the show for me.

14+ hours of greys anatomy on a sat
rinse and repeat for sunday

Did 9 seasons in about a month

Damn women

I now consider myself qualified to diagnose, treat and perform a number of Hollywood surgeries

I remember watching all 14 seasons of ER just before the 15th was released. Have also at different stages watched many different shows from episode 1 through to the end, but usually not in more than 1 or 2 episodes at a time, but I have done days where I have watched from 9am until 9pm when I have been sick in bed.

Supernatural series, my missus wanted me to watch her favourite boys when we first dated, completed the first 2 series in a weekend!

Rewatched seasons 2 and 3 of GOT over the period of a couple of weeks with bouts of 3-4 episodes in a row on 2 occasions.
I'm normally pretty awful at marathon sessions of anything film/tv related no matter how much I enjoy it. Loving Breaking Bad atm but still struggle to watch more than one episode every couple of nights.
Slightly OT but I read 3001 in one night many years ago - and I'm slooooow at reading books. :o

When I had surgery in February and wasn't up to much besides lying in bed being miserable and in pain I was watching a full season of DS9 a day until it was done with, after that I finished Burn Notice at similar speed (I'd watched the first 4 seasons on and off over 4 months, finished the rest of the show in 3 days), then the Tudors (1 season a day but by then I was a bit more active so less TV time). Plus I was keeping up to date with the shows I watch weekly.

And I've still got a full page of Amazon video favorites saved in case the quack decides he needs to do more yet.

We watched a lot of "House" but watching that back to back really showed up the same scenarios each episode

Someone gets ill
Gets diagnosed really quick
oops that doesn't work
Dr House steps up his game and cures the patient

I watched the first 16 episodes of Lost until I caught up and recently I watched all of Breaking Bad one after the other until I caught up with the very last one.
I also did the first series of Banshee one after the other.
